Portugal Kettlebell Club

The Portugal Kettlebell Club already has a website were you can get to know better the Kettlebells.

The PKC’s mission is to promote a general training tool called Kettlebells. Particularly, teach and promote the sport of Kettlebell Lifting and generally promote physical activity among the members with CrossFit training methods.

Why train with Kettlebells?

I used to workout at the gym with machines and dumbbells, but were not sufficiently motivating and even boring, eventually I stopped the workout.
Until four or five months, I learned through my boyfriend and encouraged by him, I tried. Since then, I love to work out with Kettlebells. And we are now a few more working out with these tools.

It’s a fun sport in which you work the whole body, you put to the test your flexibility, strength and endurance. Improve your physical condition at all levels!

You can even complete your workout with the Cross Fit training (ropes, jumping, running, macebell, Indian clubs, etc.).

I advise everyone to try, for sure you will love it! Have fun and improve your physical condition at the same time!

Kettlebell Saturday Workout

Every Saturday, the Portugal KClub and the KGirls will be at Parque da Cidade, in Porto, doing some workout with Kettlebells, Cross Fit material and Kali Sikaran.

Place: Parque da Cidade, Porto – Boavista’s entrance
From: 9:00 am
To: 12:30 pm

. Bring water and towel.

What is a Kettlebell?

A kettlebell is a traditional Russian training tool that has been used since the turn of the century to develop full body conditioning and fitness.
A kettlebell looks like a cannon ball with a handle. The shape of the kettlebell allows for unique positioning of the weight directly above your center of mass (unlike a DB or BB which must be held in front of
the body) and allows you to keep your hand and wrists in neutral alignment, which enable for greater endurance and longevity in the core lifts so that you can produce a much higher volume of exercise and thus
greater conditioning and fitness.

Some of the benefits of kettlebell training include:

Hi, girls!

KGirls are a little girl community that starts in Portugal doing workout and kettlebells lifting. Only girls are allowed to be in and share with us all about fitness and crossfit workout with our “little ladies” – the Kettlebells.

We hope to have you sharing with us what´s going on at your country with kettlebells, what is happening to develope it, what´s the problems for us working with kettlbells, what you feel since training with kettlebells and if you compete what is going on in Woman Girevoy Sport Competition and so many things you and we can share.

KGirls are not a professional sport competition group or commercial team, we exist to share with all girls the passion of kettlebells lifting and working out with it.
